(no subject)

I dreamt last night that I got cast in a major production of Shakespeare's other Hamlet. You know, the romantic comedy where a father and son team of lawyers (Jeff Goldblum and myself) travel to the castle of elderly King Hamlet (Patrick Stewart), who wants a really good nuptial agreement drawn up so he can marry off his daughter (?) to a high-ranking Elf (?, I think a young male Meryl Streep) from the forest next door.

Naturally, the plot involves the lawyer's son and the King's daughter falling in love and trying to keep their fathers happy and still clandestinely wreck the betrothal six ways from Sunday. At least, I think that's how it goes--in the dream I was such a nervous wreck about sharing the stage with all these people that I was refusing to even look at the script.

Um, explain to me again why you are hear posting stuff in LJ when you should really be in NYC, pitching this play? Clearly the muse of Shakespeare was speaking through you. You must carry this vision on until it is produced.

I'd go see that.

I sense a T@F world premiere production brewing.

I want to know where your brain goes when you sleep.

Sadly, it usually either goes shopping or to registration week at college. Those dreams are just so boring I never post about them.

I would totally pay money to see that.
