The Norwalk Virus has hit Oakenhouse.
D was up all night last night "processing", if you know what I mean and I think you do.
I think our New Year celebration is going to consist of her lying on the bed with a bucket beside her while I brew tea, wash my hands compulsively, and think good thoughts towards my white blood cells. And that's the best case scenario.

Ack, Norwalk!
Good luck, Happy New Year, and I hope D feels better soon. Feed the poor thing some ginger beer.

I hope her Norwalk is of the variety I had a few years ago: after an uncomfortable night and morning, the stomach settled down so long as I didn't impose anything on it. Then the second part of the gastroenteritis set in until the next morning. And then it was over, except for the horrible ragged-out part.
I'll think good thoughts toward your white blood cells and be glad that all Akycha caught from our goddaughter was a cold.

She even was able to get up and check e-mail, which is always a good sign. :)
