Dec. 31st, 2002 09:32 amThe Norwalk Virus has hit Oakenhouse.
D was up all night last night "processing", if you know what I mean and I think you do.
I think our New Year celebration is going to consist of her lying on the bed with a bucket beside her while I brew tea, wash my hands compulsively, and think good thoughts towards my white blood cells. And that's the best case scenario.

Date: 2002-12-31 08:13 am (UTC)I hope her Norwalk is of the variety I had a few years ago: after an uncomfortable night and morning, the stomach settled down so long as I didn't impose anything on it. Then the second part of the gastroenteritis set in until the next morning. And then it was over, except for the horrible ragged-out part.
I'll think good thoughts toward your white blood cells and be glad that all Akycha caught from our goddaughter was a cold.
