oakenguyLadeez and gennelmen.....I've eaten fire!
Today at practice Casey, the resident fire-juggler and general pyrophiliac, was there. He'd brought his fire-eating equipment. While the more martial folks practiced their fights, he gave a little tutorial on how to do it (not very much fuel, head straight up, bring fire straight down, close teeth over it NOT LIPS, exhale to extinguish, basically), and then after much trepidation and several false starts I did it. Three times in all, and not even a singe.
Nearly a heart attack, but not a singe.
That was about three hours ago, and my heart's still pounding. Whoa.
