It's all relative
Jul. 29th, 2002 12:23 pmMy nephew, 12, going into 7th grade, has gotten pensive...getting a smile from him is like watching the sun poke out from behind the clouds. Deb would go a step further and say he's worried-looking. I don't know, I don't know--I mean, he's not even halfway through the most stressful years of most kids' lives, how could he *not* have that expression? *sigh*
Tip to babysitters: do NOT see 'Minority Report' unless you want to be a nervous wreck when you're around kids. That scene where Tom Cruise looks away for three seconds and his son disappears and is never seen again? That scene ran through my head, oh, about 900 times this weekend, especially in the Aquarium--huge crowds, almost no lights, omg, what was I thinking?!?
Never wanna be a parent, never ever EVER. There's less stress involved in doing brain surgery.
