To continue that parallel universe theme from the last post, in a number of nearby dimensions other-Oakens are getting ready to perform tonight at modpixie's fundraiser. Not to mention sell chocolates there. For there can't be that many universes where the venue's roof leaked and the show got cancelled. (Well, moved to May 27th).

I'm sure that by now my other selves have figured out what they're going to do on stage. I have faith in them. In fact, I'd love to know what they were going to do.

On the other hand, in most of those universes the Oakens have gotten the results of the biopsy, and can relax and concentrate much better. Because HOW FREAKIN' LONG CAN IT TAKE, after all?

*cough*

So, sadly, the great taste-testing of the two different truffle recipes will have to take place at the rehearsal this weekend. Woe is us.

In a parallel universe I don't have to work tonight and thus would be heading out to enjoy said fundraiser.

In another parallel universe I have a large truckload of money at my disposal and am able to help fund all the cool things my friends want to do.

In a much stranger universe, Oaken became interested in elephants. Elephants with snorkels. Oaken's Snorkled Elephants have replaced the best-selling "Animal Crackers"
