Feb. 10th, 2003 11:49 amOh, in other news: we have one of those odd electric scales which not only give you your weight, but tell you what % of your body is fat. The problem is, it has to know your height in order to do the calculation, and months ago my nephew came to visit and programmed it for himself.
So for months I've been checking it out and getting told that 76% of my body was made up of fat. Which I knew was wrong, but still, it's a heck of the way to start the day.
D has actually started another contest--this time it's a weekly mileage goal for walking/jogging, and whoever doesn't reach it has to do laundry that weekend. We're starting off small (ten miles) and planning to work up. WAY up.
(Of course, she's getting part of her goal for today done by walking over here to meet me for lunch at her favorite pizza place. So we're obviously easing into this whole 'health' thing a bit slowly.)
