Zombies Still Needed
Feb. 25th, 2003 02:29 pmIf anyone's interested, the student film I posted about a little while ago still needs folks to be zombies! Filming dates are the evenings of the 13th and 14th (Thursday and Friday), after 5 at Mass Art.
This is one of those things where it *really* looks better with a large group. Honest. You don't want to watch the poor director try to make a shuffling 'horde' of Oakenguy shot at different camera angles look scary, do you?

Yes.
Yes, I really do.
I really, really do. I wouldn't sign up to be a zombie, but I'd definitely sign up to watch that.
Sorry, Bri. I've done my stint of shuffling zombi-dom. It was great. It was really enriching. I remember it very fondly. I got to lie draped at an improbable angle across a surreal and evil-looking landscape and whisper, with a horde of other similarly draped zombies--in sibilant , shiver-inducing, terrifying and repelling tones--"Fffuuuuck offffffff!" at the main characters. Then I and my fellow corpses slithered across the stage to vanish through a trap door. I was the one who figured out how to vanish head-first without killing myself, improving the appearance of the slithering thing no end. Yes, I have fond memories of being a zombie.
But once was enough. Besides, that was on stage, where no one was going to make something I was expected to see later.
