A vacation, done in pointilism (part 1)

So during my trip the first day in Tuscany we got this:





And during my last night there this, no lie, drifted down out of the sky and landed in the field a little ways down from the cabin:



(A town about 30 miles north of us had launched it during some celebration or other).

There's an odd symmetry there.
