I'm listening to Israel Kamakawiwo'ole right now. Huge man, tiny ukelele, gentle voice...and dang, 'Over the Rainbow' takes on a whole new meaning when it's being sung by someone who knows he's dying.

What happens if it rains a lot?

I never knew that about that song version...its on the cd at yoga class and if everything is timed right, we do our meditation at the end of class to it

if it rains a lot everyone gets cold and wet and huddles in the castle and all of the fun stuff out on the lawn or in the cat garden is... squeezed maybe... i dunno what they'll do for the final fights if it rains a lot. (can we say, someone's been to too many shows at hammond? i can...)

I seriously need to get a cape like coat...right now I don't have anything to wear over my dress on saturday.Will be quite crowded inside the castle, won't it?

hmmm... i don't know how crowded it'll be. i spent all of last years KAF standing in the COLDEST and WINDIEST part of the castle, so it wasnt' too crowded... stupid boys... ;)

hmmm... what color is your dress? is it the same one from NERF? what color is it even if it's the same one, i cant' remember...

Word at tonight's rehearsal is that we'll be doing our outdoor scenes outdoors regardless of weather unless it's radically unsafe (e.g., lightning). There's just too darn many of us to crowd us indoors, for one thing.

(There were many more words, of course. But those stood out.)

Ugh, me too. Stone steps and wet shoes don't go together.

And would there be anything more miserable than being a living statue who's getting rained on? (Okay, yes, being a living statue in poison ivy getting rained on).

But think how cool it would look if someone raised their sword and had lightning strike it? I mean that might almost make up for the putrid smell of charred flesh, wouldn't it? ;-)

Last year, the last fight was done in the rain. Basically a drizzle. Hopefully it won't be that bad, but just be careful on the wet grass.
