oakenguyOkay, the election's tomorrow. The school released a statement on Friday that, as far as we can tell, the Mayoral Candidate did NOT graduate.
This whole thing might hinge on the Candidate's former music teacher, in the office next to mine; if he was willing to say "I found the old grade, I made a mistake and never turned it in to the Registrar" then the Candidate would be back on top of the world.
This might be why, when I got back from lunch today, there were two very large men who don't look at all like musicians waiting outside the teacher's door, wanting to "discuss the situation" with him because he's "not responding to phone calls". They might be the candidate's legal team, but last time I checked attorneys had NECKS.
Oh, and have I mentioned that the town this guy hopes to be the mayor of is apparently one of the biggest heroin distribution centers in this neck of the woods?
I alerted the Chair, and everyone watched in the hallway when the teacher finally poked his head out of the door and "No Comment"ed until the goons went away. For now.
