We have a car! We're mobile and driving and able to go places and take trips and sing along with the radio and bounce up and down in the seat and have rational thoughts about weekend trips to Maine and Vermont and Providence and drive really fast late at night on the interstate with Dick Dale in the tape player making the whole dashboard vibrate when he hits his low notes and mmmmmmmmmm. Car.
He's a big ol' Camry wagon, light blue, about 12 years old and driven about 10,000 miles each of those years. When you sit in the drivers seat you really get a sense of being protected by a *lot* of bulky metal, but the ride's smooth and flowing. YUM.
We're thinking of calling him Ganesha. Not just *any* elephant, but a wise one who brings success in new ventures, destroys obstacles, and looks out for writers...seems pretty apt. :)
