Somehow, when I wasn't looking, the schedule for Vericon (the Harvard University science fiction con) seems to've blossomed with workshops on writing comics. And Buffy-the-musical karaoke.
Oh oh!! I want to do Buffy the Musical Karaoke.... Too bad I can't...but I want to try to get people together to perform it if I can figure out the copyright issues!
I think they're pretty loose with copyrights-- an MIT group down the road performed the musical a few months ago. (Of course, they've also turned Star Wars into a musical--they might just do it hoping the Big Guys don't find out and sic their lawyers on them).
There's a little Friday night ant Sunday morning (including a Mystery Science Theater-style viewing of 'Wing Commander') but most of it takes place all day & night Saturday. The schedule's up at www.vericon.org !

"He eats those skeezy cheeses that I can't describe"
"They got the mustard O-U-T!"
and
"Hey, I'm not wearing underwear" (with much giggling)
