This Saturday at breakfast I was sitting watching a toddler experiment with altered states of consciousness. He'd stand up in his booth, look in the mirror on the wall and stare into his own eyes, and then shake his head back and forth really fast. He'd then stagger backwards all wobbly with this gigantic "Whoaaaaa!" expression on his face, take a moment or two to recover and do it all again.
