The ironic thing about the visit to the eye doctor is that D also got an eye exam, and they dilated her pupils to get a good look at them. (I opted out of this "deluxe exam" package.) So now while I have perfect vision, she's nearly blind. But on the bright side, she has anime eyes! She's sort of an anime version of Mr. Magoo.

This post just came in at the mythology community, and it made me go 'buh'. First off, I'm new, and a devout follower of Kebehut, Anpu, Tor, and Fenris. Now, I have no problems with mixing Egyptian and Norse pantheons (though honoring both groups during the same ritual would be very very interesting), but Tor *and* Fenris?? What a colorful life this person must lead.

Heh. I was just thinking earlier about the first time I had my pupils dilated -- it was a day exactly like today, bright sunshine with snow everywhere. Mom took me home instead of back to school after my exam, and she had to lead me by the hand to the car because I couldn't keep my eyes open.
