Another post-dentist post
Jun. 2nd, 2004 02:20 pmLeft side of my face is novocained.
It's odd, different languages work differently. Japanese is almost completely normal when I speak it. English is so-so, and French? You haven't heard incoherent until you've heard me try to say "Il pleut sur ma tete." It's coming out "Il pleh sub a teb".
I avoided caffeine before the visit because I wanted to be as sleepy and spacey as possible. Now I need it really badly, but can I drink it without it running down my chin? Can I chew caffeinated gum without injuring myself? No, non, nyeb.
Oh, Bostonites: the cloudburst happened literally the second I stepped out of the dentist's office. Those of you with outdoor plants, you're welcome.
