ronsonbeck's William Shatner music video and derspatchel's archival footage of a Canadian Cabbage Patch Doll riot. Beautiful. Just beautiful.
I'm reading a book called 'The Great Pretenders', which looks at folks who've turned up in the last couple hundred years claiming to be missing famous people. They usually claim to be royalty, but not always: did you know there's a black Oklahoma woman who claims to be the lost Lindbergh baby boy? Her nefarious kidnappers gave her skin dying treatments and a sex change (pretty advanced for the 1920s), donchaknow. It made me wonder if the 'Bubba Ho-tep' writers had heard about her, or if this is a case of art imitating life.
