Jul. 10th, 2004 08:23 pmSoooo tired.
After an okay haircut and a good time with friends I stayed up late last night making chocolates for the potluck at rehearsal today, and then dealing with Parental Issues.
The longest, most complicated chocolate item was a collection of ice cream bon-bons, with Ghiradelli dark chocolate. I made them, capped them, put them all in the freezer, went to bed.
Got up after five hours of sleep, I got up, did my early morning stuff, and got the molds out.
I turned them over.
The caps and ice cream fell out...leaving the chocolate shells still in the molds.
Neighbors shouldn't have to hear language like that at 7:30 in the morning.
Feeling good now, though. If rehearsal is a metaphorical giant butt, then we kicked it for 5 hours. (Yes, it was an eight hour rehearsal. But still.) And now I have a stomach full of pizza and hard lemonade, and I am less than an hour away from sleep. And our play is the bomb-diggity. And I got to see
juliansinger and
callunav when I got home, which is a rare and wonderful thing.
