First day of the show rocked. We kicked ass, and then got much free food afterwards. Woot.
I got to North Station eight minutes before my parents did, and so far they've been angels. Angels who, in one case, want to hang out in the living room in their underwear with the window shades up ("it lets the breeze in!!"), but it could be so much worse.
While giving them the grand tour, however, I stepped on a sewing needle D had on the floor. Deep. So deep that when I tried to pull it out it wouldn't come--I had to get a better grip and really use some oomph. All while trying to keep that 'I am a good host and nothing is going wrong tonight, damnit' expression on my face.
