Yet another reason to love the Fall--I just got this on the Boston-BurningMan mailing list:

The ZOMBIE MARCH is going to take place on Saturday October 22. The idea is to have about 200 to 300+ people walking around all parts of Boston in small groups dressed as ZOMBIES, and acting the part. You can stay as long as you like, and arrive in the city, as a ZOMBIE at any time. MAKE SURE YOU‚RE IN A GROUP!!! There will be a meeting of ZOMBIES in south station at 9:00 am for a photo shoot (maps of the city will be available.) At about 9:30, we'll breakup into smaller groups of no smaller than 5 and disperse throughout the city. Were looking for ALL types of ZOMBIES, costumes are the responsibility of individual, which should make for an exciting turn out.

Passing this along, for all you photogenic locals:

The Ballad of Burd Janet seeks male extras for a B-roll shoot taking place in Medford on Saturday, 24 September. Call time is at 9am for a 9:30 shoot, and the shoot will conclude at noon. Extras should come in black pants, white or light-colored button-down shirts, suspenders/bib overalls/vests, and Greek fisherman caps/newsboy caps/fedoras. No flipflops, sandals, or trendy/obviously late 20th century clothing. This is a non-paid/non union shoot, but we will feed you, you will get credit in the final cut, and you'll receive a DVD copy of the film.
