Feb. 16th, 2006 02:22 pmHighlights of last night's dream:
I was on a college campus during Martin Luther King, Jr. day. Somewhere off in the distance Coretta Scott King was giving a speech; I couldn't see her, but I could hear her voice over the loudspeakers. I went inside a museum I came to and inside it looked like a terrarium...little trees and bushes, grass growing everywhere, and there were taxidermied animals strewn around, dozens of them. (A lot of bears.) I noticed the chest of the black bear closest to me was starting to rise and fall, rise and fall, and realized Oh yeah, it's Martin Luther King Jr. Day! That's the day of the year all statues come to life!
Which they did. And they were quite mellow, mostly wanting to sniff everything.
A statue of Abraham Lincoln in a hoodie called my name and came over, really happy to see me. It was a bit flattering. We had a nice chat, which I wish I could remember.
