telepresence has already pointed out the really great article in their magazine section, here, where they planted a world-class violinist playing a Stradivarius in a Metro stop and watched what happened.
Ordinarily that would be the coolest thing I've seen in the news all week, but in that same issue they printed the results of their First Annual Peeps Diorama Contest.

As long as I'm experimenting with LJ's new photobucket mash-up, here are two pics from my day showing Sprout around town yesterday. Here's what I was seeing at 1pm:

And here's what I was looking at 10 hours later:

For the record, I want that coat.
There was a lot of shopping, molten metal, IHOP visiting, interpretive dance and T riding in between, but it was much less photogenic. Honest.
