oakenguyI hold grudges. This is reason #3,915 I'd be a lousy parent.
ME: Remember when you wanted candy and I didn't have any candy, and you just kept whining and whining and demanding some? God, you were such a jerk!!
29-YEAR-OLD-CHILD: I was three!
But I've decided to no longer instinctively recoil from the Wheelock Childrens Theater. Just because the Wheelock Alumni Office was the site of my third-worst temp assignment ever doesn't mean they should be tarred with the same brush. (Besides, the job was in '98.)
Does this have anything to do with the fact that I had a nice little talk with one of their producers at lunchtime? And that they're doing a commedia version of Jack in the Beanstalk next April that sounds totally kicking? Mmmmmmmaybe.
