Bit of Oddness #1: A local radio station is having a substitute DJ for its morning show next week. That DJ? DAVID LEE ROTH. This'll be interesting.

(It's 100.7, WZLX, [livejournal.com profile] superrob )

Bit of Oddness #2: Here's the conversation I had this morning while I was out walking Toby.

LITTLE GIRL ON THE SIDEWALK: Hey! Did your dog get a bagel??
ME: Not today...he's always looking for one, though!
TOBY: Rrrf.
LITTLE GIRL: Cuz I had one for breakfast, and I threw it outside for him!
ME: Aww, how
(thought balloon): odd
ME: --nice! We haven't seen it, though. Um...maybe birds got it?
LITTLE GIRL (utterly downcast): Stupid BIRDS!!

We must live in opposite worlds since we tossed a bunch of old bagels outside for the birds and a neighborhood dog came by and ate three of them. pig

Heh. I miss feeding the birds, since it as the squirells that would eat out of the seed houses. Jerks!

Does it surprise you I was already aware of that!?

Hmm. Probably no.

Don't get me wrong. I like Sammy Hagar, and you know, the other guy, but my artistic heart will always be with Diamond Dave!

Thanks for the reminder, though. Beats hearing about him doing EMT work.

He's never even tried, so we don't know! Whenever he finds bread outside (and remember, we've got two pizza places within our walk radius, so crusts are common) he carries it for a block or two, and then "buries" it under about a millimeter of dirt or leaves.
