Some people can go to bed thinking about a problem, and let their subconscious work on it overnight and have a good idea waiting for them when they wake up in the morning.
Today, I woke up with the thought "Build a comedy sketch around a new Teletubby named 'Shiny Hiney'. It'll be hilarious!"

PB has moments of sleep/meditation where he comes upon things akin to the akashic record, astral projection, and views of the universe in it's spiritual wholeness.
If I'm lucky, I have a Johnny Depp dream, or a dream wherein I lose Caiman, and am able to find him again.
