In gaming notes, I just finished 'Lord of the Rings: the Third Age'. It was an odd blend of Final Fantasy-style turn-based fights and LOTR monsters, which I liked.

[livejournal.com profile] tersa, I saw exactly what you meant about the ending seeming very fast and rushed. And somehow, I can't get over the niggling feeling that Sauron should be a tougher fight than an elephant.

Yea I played that game too, I enjoyed it but I agree about the ending, and also you know the whole plot not working at all. Actually Muffin was obssessed with that game he would play it non stop when I brought over my X-box

Battle for Middle Earth is another good LoTR themed game - much more depth than War of the Ring, and LOTS of good fun going around being either good or evil :)

*laugh* I found Sauron to be a tougher fight than the oliphants, but I'm glad it wasn't just me that the ending blind-sided.

Well, now that that is done, you should pop on over to World of Warcraft. We'll all be waiting for you on the inside. Need the cds? Don't worry, man. I can hook you up.

I loved that game.
