Feb. 8th, 2006 01:50 pmOn the way to lunch, I was reading about a local restaurant's latest dessert idea: Pan-Seared Cookie Dough. They take raw cookie dough and toss it in a hot pan, giving it a thin crispy layer on the outside and keeping it still gooey in the middle, then serve it with a scoop of caramel ice cream.
I had two immediate responses:
1) They charge how much for this?
and
2) OMG I want some I want some NOW
While on the subject of local restaurants, remember about a year ago I posted about one local seafood place and their odd ad campaign which seems to say "If you eat our food, you will turn into a half-human, half-mollusc"? I couldn't find any ads to show you, but they've started up again and...well...take a look:
