On the way to lunch, I was reading about a local restaurant's latest dessert idea: Pan-Seared Cookie Dough. They take raw cookie dough and toss it in a hot pan, giving it a thin crispy layer on the outside and keeping it still gooey in the middle, then serve it with a scoop of caramel ice cream.

I had two immediate responses:
1) They charge how much for this?
and
2) OMG I want some I want some NOW

While on the subject of local restaurants, remember about a year ago I posted about one local seafood place and their odd ad campaign which seems to say "If you eat our food, you will turn into a half-human, half-mollusc"? I couldn't find any ads to show you, but they've started up again and...well...take a look:

I swore off raw cookie dough after that food poisoning incident I had in high school. :^(

That ad campaign is by far, the most bizarre. I DONT GET IT. Is she pregnant? Fat? Tripping? A mershell? What!

Reminds me of the Japanese horror film "Uzumaki," wherein this town was haunted by spirals. (Yes, spirals. What?) Some of the citizens turned into snails....

So is your icon. :)) [genius]

Anyway.... I think it's trying to be more like a Vegas ad, the kind you see in the Venetian and such. I LOVE ads like that. :)) I think it's trying to say if you order a giant side of seafood, a ridiculously attractive girl will come to your table and bring it, with smoldering looks.

....

..........I'm down!!!

...they *almost* invented cookies...?

...and invertebrates will wind up with perkier more insouciant outfits on their upper halves upon eating at that place...?

...man, who said society is lacking these days???!!!

Hmmm, they could have turned the poor girl into a mermaid, that ugly shell looks uncomfortable :S. I don't think that I would eat at the sea food place but the cookie sounds yummy.
