May. 17th, 2006 05:42 pmPlug plug plug: this Sunday I'll be performing and selling truffles at the Medieval German Faire (www.phoenixfaire.com) out in Western Mass; not to jinx anything, but there've even been rumors in the news about a big ball of orange gas appearing in the sky that day!
I've been having fun on babelfish, getting very bad German translations of my truffle flavors. Chocolate with peppermint chunks becomes "Schokolade mit pfefferminzklumpen", Dark chocolate in a chocolate shell becomes "Dunkle schokolade in einen schokolade oberteil", and in my favorite translation, Espresso dark chocolate turns into "Espressodunkelheitschokolade".
