Jul. 2nd, 2006 03:43 pmIt's
qlewkr's birthday! We've celebrated so far with breakfast in bed, a leisurely bike ride, and soon we'll be collaborating on a chocolate cake.
But for now we're staying out of the hot sun and enjoying ourselves. :)
Yesterday was spent out in western MA performing at the VT Renaissance Faire with Phoenix Swords. It was very low-key...we were just doing the Bounty Game, so my job for the day was to wander around the faire presenting a not-too-difficult target for people who'd bought the packet of wanted posters with my face in it, and then giving them quests to perform before I'd grant them my signature. (Seeing lots of old friends and getting pulled into two stage shows = huge bonus.)
The only downside was getting up at 5AM to *get* there. Oog.

Date: 2006-07-03 04:37 am (UTC)I loved their show, especially the 'whizzz!' sounds as their jokes went over the heads of the kids in the audience. They're fun to interact with in the street, too (Madelyne had a ferret-shock moment with my bells).
It was great to see you, too. :) I just wish I'd had more time to say howdy to you and Stefan.
