Yesterday: An audition for a sci-fi radio comedy called 'Red Shift' that went pretty well, I think: it's a funny script, the other people trying out were excellent, the cats were friendly, and my 'sidekick voice' made someone snarf their drink. Score: Tentative Yay?

Today: Biopsy for the strange nodule on my right thyroid which involved novocaine in an a disturbing place. Peter Boyle died. No fewer than five people in my office at any one time. Score: Sucky.

Tomorrow: I'm performing (physical comedy with wrapping paper) in the window of Boutique Fabulous in Inman Square between 7:30 and 8:30 as part of the Shop Inman by Moonlight promotion Improv Boston is helping out with. This'll be right after attending D's office party and meeting her new boss. Score: Eep!

Shit. He was one of my favorite actors. Peter Boyle and Jack Palance in the same year... this has not been a good year for my faves.

Strange nodules are so gross and awkward and unfun to even look at, never mind feel. Ick. I had inflammed lymph nodes in my neck for a good month or so over the summer, and it was maaaad awkward and uncomfortable. :(

Unusual body lumps are just... no.

As for you + physical comedy + wrapping paper = Finding you in a box under my Christmas tree this year? :P
