Tommy Peoples has long been recognizzed as one of ireland's premire traditioanl musicians. His influence has been felt far and wide in irish music via his ealry work with the Bothy Band,Last Night's fun and his solo recordings on Shanachie, Green Llinnet and other lables. He has worked withmatt Molloy and Sean Keane (of the Chieftains) as well as Paul Brady. Tommy will be accompanied by string department faculty.
The fact that they managed to spell Shanachie right: miracle, or example of the saying "Even a stopped clock is right twice a day"?
