For those of you who've been wondering, Hood's 'Sugar Cookie Eggnog' does, in fact, taste like a sugar cookie.

To be specific, it tastes like one of those preservative-filled, made-in-1987, extruded-from-a-vat sugar cookies you buy in 7-11 at 2AM because you're too tired to remember just how awful they actually are.

JUST like it. It's actually pretty remarkable.

Okay, here's the weird thing. My librarian was just in talking to me, and said, "Oh, I read the best thing on Universal Hub this morning. About Hood's new...what is it, ginger snap egg nog ice cream? Said it tasted like those nasty 7-11 cookies."

Gug. For my need for festive drinks- I have gone the soulless route of Starbucks, "Gingerbread eggnog chai latte." (They always look at you funny when yo udo a custom order- but I met a guy who comes in every day and orders some combination that he specifically requests 3 raspberry shots, 5 vanilla shots and 2 of some other thing in his drink- so I don't feel too bad) It is yummy!

Okay, so I agree with you on the Sugar Cookie one, because, I too, bought it in the hopes it would be awesome. It was fucktastically not.

However, the Gingerbread wasn't too bad, and the Pumpkin 'nog had me running about to different stores in attempts to purchase some.

If they make Patriot EggNog, though, I'm leaving New England.
