The local arts council has sent out an invitation for people to take part in the 7th annual Mystic River Herring Run Festival by dressing up as fish and taking part in one of three fun runs. It's a "Run With the Fishes" challenge.

What's most interesting is that the mailing just assumes that folks around here have a fish costume hanging in their closets.

I love this town.
