The good:

I just got off the phone with someone who had a stereotypical Canadian accent! He even said 'eh?' at the end of a sentence! It was so adorable!

A teacher just gave me what's either a bottle of champagne or a very skinny, very still gift-wrapped penguin. I've got my fingers crossed.

They've given me a new computer, one of the 2nd gen iMacs with the floating screen. It's yummy.


The bad:

I'm now linked to The Network, which means no more instant messaging at work. :P

Still not King.

LOL--you strike me as one of those people who're like sponges. Travel around the country a little bit and you'll get one of those untraceable voices with little bits of nine different accents, like Hugo Weaving.

I love Canadian accents, even though, as a Canadian myself, I only perceive them when they're really strong. My dad has one of those very strong accents, complete with the "eh?" at the end of every other sentence. My Southern US inlaws just love to listen to him talk.

Weirdly, though, I don't have much of an accent. The Canadian only comes out when I say certain words or use phrases that Americans just don't use.
