I've spent the last half hour watching music videos (I <3 MTV2) and trying to learn a new poi move.

How it's supposed to go: Overarm, Underarm, Outside of other arm. Over, under, outside. Over, under, outside.

How it's going so far: Over, und--*thwack* Ow! Fuck!!, Over, un--*thwack!* Ow!! Fuck!!, Ov--*thwack!* My nipple! Fuck!!

Oh believe me, the 'what would have happened if these had been lit?' question was never far from my mind. The next time I work with actual poi, my clothes will either be flame-resistant or soaking wet. :)
