I'm still feeling a bit disoriented, even dizzy at times. Things look...well, a lot more 3D than they did, if that makes any sense. And there's just so much *more* to look at that I think my eyes going a bit nuts trying to take everything in. The skyline is NEAT. Architecture's much more interesting now that I can see all the details.

Thanks for all the compliments, guys. I'd just like to point out that anyone looks better with a cute dog in their lap. ;)

So, do you feel taller? I remember whenever I got a new perscribtion of glasses/contacts, I felt taller. Took a while to get used to spacing and distance orientation.
And here is a bit of advice. If you dont need your glasses to read, dont use them. Your eyes will become more dependant on them and get weaker and get worse.

it always takes me a few days to get used to the stronger prescriptions that I get...so it will probably take you a few as well, considering they are your first.

My parents make fun of me for this, but the first time I went outside with my glasses I said something to the effect of "Look! There are leaves on that tree!"

They were just so pretty and crisp and individual. :)

I remember my first pair of glasses. Over 25 years ago. But it made an incredible difference. I couldn't believe How bad my eyesight was. The world was totally new.
