Gah, weekends. All day today I was haunted by a nasty sorta-argument that'd happened last night, so much so that I delayed going home as much as possible...and it was resolved in thirty seconds when I finally came through the door. And then there was pie.

(No, that's not a code.)

We ended today's rehearsal with scene 4, which is the scene I think I nail the most successfully--a good thing, because apart from that I sort of felt slow-brained and half-assed all day. (Or possibly the other way around.) It's odd, but I'm a lot better at sounding like an upper-class Brit trying unsuccessfully to talk in a country accent than I am at sounding like an upper-class Brit.

To help with my accent, I'm watching the first season of 'Coupling'. Thank you Netflix. I'm not sure how much it's helping, but 'tripod' and 'giggle loop' have entered our vocabulary.

I don't normally do this, but I have more ideas for long posts than I've had time to post them this weekend. I've got a tale about a baby chicken, some musings about school songs and the story of the biggest bandit on the lower Mississippi coming soon. You've been warned.
