Various people in my life are making noises about birthdays, and plans.

Plans?

It's baffling. They actually want to do something on their birthday besides sit on the floor in the basement beside the washing machine drinking wine straight from the box and weeping?

Then again, that's how I spend every Thursday.

Seriously though, I use my birthday as an excuse to force my friends to come to my house and mingle-sometimes they even like it.

We can... I'm sure we can have dinner or something. And watch... something... on the tube (Haibane Renmei?).

And I can probably find something better than wine in a box. Or you can help me open another sample of the 30+ year old plonk in the basement, and see if it's gone bad yet! Whee! ;)

Now see, the washing machine gets boring after awhile...you need to switch to the dryer, as it least that's fun to ride in. ;)

My Thursdays usually involve watching a movie at home and playing dominoes and drinking Boone's Farm with my friends. :)

My Thursday's are close to that. Deliver Domino's, then movie at home, and drinking Guiness, but no friends.

That's pretty much how I spent my birthday - except mine was on a Friday, so that's extremely different.
