Transcription: Post from the road, Day 1
Aug. 24th, 2004 09:10 pm8:20pm. I'm in Liverpool, NY. I can't find it on 3 different maps. This is starting to worry me.
I stopped on the highway at what had started out as a trading post with the local Hurons. The trader was around for about 60 years, put an end to the Pontiac Uprising, generally was single-handedly responsible for English dominance in this region. Now his home is the site of a Cinnabun.
One of those "be careful what you wish for" times, I'm guessing.
This is the gazebo I stopped at in Fulton, a few towns (I'm guessing) over.
