Last night's dream: showing [livejournal.com profile] khep and Petboy around Boston, which looked inexplicably like a cross between Miami Beach and the world's biggest Fuddrucker's. And everywhere we went [livejournal.com profile] triplehdm was lounging around on a couch, except he was dressed like Brother Blue. (http://www.riverdeep.net/current/2001/02/021901_m_broblue.jhtml)

Thinking about things this morning, I realized that I treat the end of shows a lot like I used to treat the end of relationships: they're a time for me to spend a lot more time shuffling around in sweats and a pint of Ben & Jerry's, feeling vaguely depressed and unsocial, just giving a big "Meh" to the outside world.

On the bright side, I've gotten a lot of laundry done.

FUDDRUCKER'S.

I haven't thought about THAT place in, like, years.

It's hard to even picture you there! It'd be like finding Deb at a Warhammer convention. :)

I dare say your dreams are as strange as mine.

I understand that "meh" feeling after a creative thing you've invested so much time in is done. If you want, you can come do my laundry. It'll keep you busy longer! I'll even give you Ben & Jerry's. ;)

Ooo, tempting!

Did I mention I'm not very good at doing laundry, though? It was only a few months ago that I figured out the "powder first, then water, THEN clothes" system and stopped finding handfuls of white powder in my pockets.

But if you do it that way then you won't have white powder when you need it.

When can we get together, mm? There's a cool thing in Kendall/MIT area this week.

I'm the same way with Nero events... I get all sad that they're gone once we're finished with them...

Oh, I know that feeling too!

Speaking of those, I've been meaning to talk to you....(well, besides congratulating you and thanking you)

Oooh, are you thinking about bringing Yande back? :)

Or NPCing, at least. But running around in the woods, definitely. :)

Our next weekend is the 13th to 15th, and I'd *love* to have you... one of my encounters is a silent play, and it'd be fantastic to have someone experienced!

Oh that rocks! *^__^* I'm amazed though that it didn't include references to pet workshops and gas masks. I mean- Fuddruckers kicks freaking ass, as does Boston in whatever form it may take, but I had told PB about the workshops and the gas masks, and you'd think common ground would have come in there ;)

Hee! That's expecting my dreams to be far too logical, though.

Oh, btw, let PB know he makes a good waltz partner. :)

I know what you mean. I prefer ben and jerry's chubby hubby (if i can find it) or chunky monkey. For that one, it's all about the banana ice cream. And chocolate...lots of chocolate...meh

stirring up trouble in the boston community again? hehe

Tell me when you are free and then we can plan from there...did you have a plan for the outfit you were talking about?

*sputters in incoherent defensive mode* It wasn't me! I was good! It was her! Miss "Hungrier Than Thou"! Litter bad!!

We need to check some of the local Indian and/or Thai stores in the area...I'm in the mood for glittery things. :)

I actually never liked her...something about the way she writes and whatnot.

As long as I don't have to eat Indian food, I'm all good with glittery things :) hehe

I have actually enjoyed being super-busy, after the show. I've avoided the post-show wallow. Although ice cream sounds goooooooood.

Perhaps you equating triplehdm to Brother blue is due to Brother's performance as Merlin, in George Romero's Knightriders

Just a theory.

Y'know, I'd completely forgotten about that until I came across it trying to google for BBlue's picture this afternoon.

When I play the 'Kevin Bacon' game, this will shorten the steps between my friend Heather and Stephen King immensely.
