I know that rats can get addicted to sugar (just don't feed them marshmallows all the time and they won't be major sugar junkies), but I'm not sure about bunnies. :)
Sugar just does great things to brain chemistry, makes all those happy chemicals get released.
My rats used to do tricks as soon as they heard the box open, they were so cute :)
And as a canine behaviourist myself (amongst other facets of my career), I'll tell you - many a term paper has been written about rats and food :D
