Jul. 6th, 2006 03:58 pmToronto! Canadian city!
But the city don't know what the city is gettin'!
The creme de la creme of the clown world
In a show with everything but Yul Brynner!
Sorry for the filking, sorry for the squeeing, but Toronto. Road Trip. TORONTO FESTIVAL OF CLOWNS (part of the 4th annual Toronto International Circus Festival, donchaknow). I've reserved the room at the hostel. It's really happening.
OMG, it's really happening. A city full of circus performers (well, okay, and the leatherfolks attending Folsom Fair North, and won't that be an interesting mix?), and one little Bostonian with a tailcoat and an oversized hat, right in the middle of it all.
I keep thinking of things that might go wrong. Not little things, either, things like "What if they search my car at the border and the previous owner of the car hid a big block of cocaine inside the wheel mount and the dogs find it and I get locked up as a smuggler?". Because I am insane. And freaking out. And it's still DAYS AND DAYS AWAY.

Date: 2006-07-07 12:21 am (UTC)I was there once, really really briefly, as part of a drive with my family out to Ohio. Does it count if we never got out of the car, and all I really remember is my Dad yelling a lot and helpful pedestrians waving jazz-hands style and shouting "One way! One way!" ?
