How was my weekend, you ask?

(Aside from the visit from aberdeen and juliansinger. That was FUN, but not odd. Well. Except for the bit with the chickens.)

Anyhow, the Cambridge River Festival's theme this year was "Twist and Shout", but from some of the art it might have been "We slipped acid into your coffee".





When the Revolution comes, every car on Memorial Drive will look like this.

Not that I'm complaining. Am I, Mysterious Mosaic Head?



Aside from that, most of this weekend was spent working on "Scarecrow"--necessary because, though I'm good at remembering song lyrics, for some reason learning lines is like trying to shove pudding into my brain through my ear.

As usual, I used the potluck as an excuse to experiment with a new recipe--this time around it was two-layer mini-cheesecakes with white chocolate on top and milk chocolate & Baileys underneath. It was....well, a learning experience. As you can see, it caused a little rowdiness with some members of the cast:



...but nothing ronsonbeck couldn't handle.

Oh, hey, guess what I just came across? :) We do, we do need to get together. Maybe we could meet you in Framingham for lunch this weekend. Or for a movie on Friday? I want to see 'Once', or possibly 'Waitress'. Or, well, what do you want to see? Or we could just make dinner together. Bring Frank if he wants to come.
