Mar. 2nd, 2003 10:40 amBack from Intercon. Still twitchy. Trying to fight off the usual 'wow, what great people! Who I'll never see again! And never learned the names of!' post-con blues. And it's not even totally true this time around. I had some great out-of-larp talks and even got myself 9/10ths of the way lured into committing to Atlas Adventures (hi Kajivar!). Bought a very piratical-looking gun that shoots little foam balls and everything.
If one thing marked this year and the characters I played, it was redemption. And clowns. Okay, two things.
More about that later (after I'm caffeinated, at the very least). I just wanted to mention that if any local folks are free on Tuesday night, I'm doing a standup set at the All Asia Cafe on Mass Ave in Central Square. (My first one in months, yes yes. Not that this worries me. Heh.) Oh, times--it starts at 9, but I'll be going up closer to 9:45, I think.

Re:
Date: 2003-03-02 08:16 pm (UTC)All clowns encountered this weekend were, in fact, evil...a zombie clown, a magically cursed clown, a dictatorial princess masquerading as a clown and a brain-sucking alien from another planet who just happened to *look* like a clown, in that order. But at least they weren't mimes!
Hey, are you still interested in being immortalized on film as a zombie?
