oakenguyIf loving the way David Bowie sorta freaks out at the end of "Pressure" is wrong, then I don't wanna be right.
Woo, what a weekend! Thanks to everyone who came, or tried to come, to the show on Saturday. It turned into performance art, I know, thanks to the acoustics--there's nothing quite like blurting out some things which are personal, even embarrassing, and knowing folks are getting maybe 1 word in 5 and trying to piece the sentences together.
Oy.
Still, for all people know I *did* have a really strong closing joke, instead of trailing off half-assed. If they're under the illusion that I am, in fact, fully-assed, I will do nothing to burst the bubble. (So to speak.)
Why yes, it IS time to change subjects.
Has anyone else noticed that the local hawks are acting really strangely? Friday night as I got out of work I saw one circling over the Tower Records building, then settle to watch the traffic. Okay. On the other side of the bridge I'm walking past MIT when a hawk--maybe the same one--flies past me and settles on the roof of the building to my left. Staring.
Two is a coincidence. But three minutes later? When two hawks are soaring off to my right, and one perches on a tree across the street and the second one settles down on the 'C' of the Necco Wafers building right in front of me? That's when I start to wonder if the top of my head looks like a pigeon or a rabbit.
