FYI: On the bags of Trader Joe's Microwave Popcorn, there is a small typo.

Where it reads "Microwave on high for 3 minutes", it should say "Microwave on high for no more than 90 seconds, we're totally serious, think of us as less of a popcorn bag and more of a smoke bomb designed by the DEVIL, set to explode at the 92 second mark".

Seriously. This is the worst, most persistent burnt smell I've ever encountered, and that includes the aroma I experienced after the gas stove 'experiment' crisped my eyebrows and eyelashes off.

We are deeply sorry that our new POP-BANG(tm) brand of popcorn did not completely satisfy you.

In our market research we have discoved that customers enjoy the sound of popping popcorn. To increase this satisfaction we added sulfur, charcoal and potassium nitrate to the popcorn coating to increase the sound.
There are a few unfortunate kinks to this process. We are working on fixing these.

My (brand new) microwave has a Popcorn button, and a dial to tell it how big the bag is. It always amuses me when I hit "SNCK".

Yes, a reasonable person, looking at a bag that small, should have thought "Hmm, 3 minutes seems a bit long for something this size". But no.

It's so weird the way some locations have things and others don't. I have a few TJs personal "staples" that I have to go to two different locations to get because neither store carries all of them.
