Two Unrelated Facts

1) Last night I dreamt that I was peeking in the window of an expensive restaurant that was having an elaborate show for the customers. At the peak of it the owner was holding a gigantic pan of cherries for cherries jubilee...only the person with the flame missed, and the owner's hair caught on fire. I was the first one to notice (maybe because all the waitstaff had big masks on with tiny eye holes), and I distinctly remember thinking, "Okay, just like malterre showed you..." as I grabbed the dishtowel, soaked it in the sink, and popped it over the guy's head.

Oh, the guy? George Lucas.



2) Thanks to syreene for passing this on: an aide for a conservative state senator in PA has just been fired and charged after soliciting a 15-year-old for furry sex. Yiffing, specifically. Using a Senate computer to do it might not have been the best idea, either. http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/09150/973907-455.stm
