I just whited out a word on a Netflix envelope because they got the name of a supervillain wrong.

In my defence, though, "The Man of Steel's most formidable foe ever--The Darkseid"?! No. NO. That's just wrong, Netflix. It's like the History Channel telling me about Adolf Hibler.

Which film is this? And, good sir, have you yet taken in any episodes of The Brave and the Bold?

This was Disc 1 of Season 3 of the Superman Animated Series. It's actually a little weird watching the Turpin vs. Darkseid interactions in light of what happened in FC.

No, no Brave and Bold yet--I don't get cable! Is there a good online source for it?

Don't you dare get down on Hibler. Adolf was a good man, and it's a shame that his good name gets so slandered by a mere typo. Did you know that he was the first man to power a factory using nothing but kittens!

Hibler was a damn pioneer.... Shame about the SPCA lawsuit... ;)

I'm glad I'm not the only one to have done this.

You make that sound like a bad thing :) I once brought The Last of the Mohicans to a video store employee to tell them it was incorrectly categorized as a Western.

Is it the word "The" that's the problem? Because it's spelled correctly otherwise. I haven't heard many refer to Superman as The Superman, but Batman has been referred to plenty of times as The Batman and its never bothered me.
