Late to the party, but in the issue of 'Rolling Stone' I was looking at the movie review of The Road mentions that the main characters run into "human cannibals". Are there other kinds?

Yeah, I saw The Road. It actually didn't affect me as negatively as I thought it would - I went to see it out of an overpowering urge to see any film containing Guy Pearce and Viggo.
Anything which eats its own kind is, technically, a cannibal. Seen quite a bit of cannibal rats, for example. However, I think it's safe to assume the only cannibals humans would be afraid of would be human cannibals.
